\n\tIf only every party had an espresso martini-fueled Bill Murray sashaying away underneath a disco ball before entrees. \u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

\n\tPerhaps the secret then is having Sofia Coppola at the helm, as she was Wednesday evening at the Doubles Club for a dinner thrown with Chanel<\/a> to celebrate her second book, \u201cChanel Haute Couture<\/a>.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe coolest girl on TikTok \u2014 that would be Romy Mars, Coppola\u2019s 18-year-old daughter \u2014 and her younger sister Cosima imitated red carpet photographers as their mother posed for photos.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYes Sofia! Over the shoulder!\u201d they called out at her.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tRomy hung out with Gracie Abrams, while Kirsten Dunst<\/a> caught up with Nicole Kidman\u2019s model daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban<\/a>. Elsewhere, Lauren Sanchez was followed around by a bodyguard, Karen Elson and her daughter Scarlett White posed, and Iman and stylist Jason Bolden were deep in a laughing fit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tOther guests included Jon Hamm, Louisa Jacobson, Abbey Lee, Havana Rose Liu, Quannah Chasinghorse and Chase Sui Wonders.<\/p>\n

\n\tCoppola was recently back from the Venice Film Festival, where she premiered her documentary on close friend Marc Jacobs. The \u201cChanel<\/a> Haute Couture\u201d book was in the works for over a year, and features exclusive photographs of Chanel clients wearing designs, as well as fashion photographs, never before seen sketches, runway images and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m really thrilled that we got many images that we loved,\u201d Coppola said, adding that it was quite the tall order to edit down all the imagery.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe book wasn\u2019t supposed to be so big. We kept adding things and I really wanted to have elements from films and fashion and people wearing it in real life. So I really wanted to have the whole picture.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCoppola interned with Chanel in the summer of 1986, and her youngest Cosima followed in her footsteps by interning with the house this summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was so excited for her. It\u2019s amazing to get to share that and yeah, it\u2019s just fun,\u201d Coppola said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was funny because there\u2019s this transition with Matthieu [Blazy, Chanel\u2019s new creative director]\u00a0 coming and we\u2019re all so curious, so we were like, \u2018what\u2019s happening there?\u2019 I feel she knows more than all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJell-O shots were passed around on likely the nicest silver tray a Jell-O shot has ever laid rest on, which turned out to be a hit with guests. Murray, dressed in a tech-bro zip-up vest, opted for an espresso martini, which he sipped before reluctantly posing for photos. Sanchez worked the room\u2019s Cond\u00e9 Nast crowd, chatting with Vogue\u2019s talent booker Sergio Kletnoy and new Vanity Fair editor Mark Guiducci.\u00a0<\/p>\n
