And while James has quite the r\u00e9sum\u00e9, his career notably took a turn nearly eight years ago when he was faced with allegations of sexual misconduct.\"Person<\/p>\n

For context, just four days after he took home a Golden Globe<\/a> for his performance in The Disaster Artist in January 2018, James was accused of \u201cinappropriate or sexually exploitative behavior\u201d by five women. The Los Angeles Times reported<\/a> that four of the five accusers were students of James\u2019s acting and film school, Studio 4.\"Person<\/p>\n

In 2019, two of the women filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment and exploitation. James\u00a0settled<\/a> the lawsuit for $2.2 million in 2021.<\/p>\n

Though he initially denied the allegations, James did admit to sleeping with students<\/a> at his acting school during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Podcast in 2021. In that same interview, he also said he’d decided to speak out on the accusations to avoid people like Dave and Seth Rogen<\/a> from having to “answer for<\/a>” him.\"Three<\/p>\n

Seth, one of James’s longest friends and closest collaborators, has since made it clear that the two of them are no longer in contact<\/a>, neither professionally nor personally. On the other hand, Dave has said very little about James and their relationship \u2014 until now.\"Three<\/p>\n

Speaking to Bustle<\/a> in a new interview, Dave talked about James for the first time in years during a conversation about nepotism and his early links to the industry. His comments come four months after the brothers were photographed in public together for the first time in about eight years while celebrating Dave’s 40th birthday in Italy, which would suggest they’re still pretty close.\"Two<\/p>\n
