The band delivered a career-spanning performance from the floor of a Los Angeles studio for their appearance on Amazon Music Live<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Foo Fighters<\/a> hit the stage, or rather the floor, last night, Oct. 30, for their performance on Amazon Music Live. <\/p>\n \n\tThe band kept their set relatively short and sweet, playing just 11 songs, compared to their usual marathon sets of 20-plus tunes. Still, the band packed in hits from across their catalog, with their show-opening performance of \u201cAll My Life\u201d available to watch on YouTube. (The full concert premiered after Thursday Night Football, and it\u2019s currently still streaming<\/a> on Prime Video and Twitch.)<\/p>\n \n\tFoo Fighters filmed their Amazon Music Live set at East End Studios in Los Angeles. The band declined to set up on stage, choosing instead to perform on the floor in the round. Frontman Dave Grohl<\/a> said this made the show feel a bit more like a Foo Fighters rehearsal, though he also joked that it \u201ckind of looks like a Lenny Kravitz video.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe Foo Fighters returned to the stage<\/a> in September, playing a handful of special club and theater shows where they unveiled new drummer Ilan Rubin<\/a> (brought in to replace<\/a> Josh Freese<\/a>). They\u2019ve since played a handful of bigger shows in Asia and have scheduled a proper North American stadium tour for 2026. The run is scheduled to kick off Aug. 4, 2026, in Toronto and wrap Sept. 26 in Las Vegas, with Queens of the Stone Age serving as openers.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tFoo Fighters also appear to be prepping a new album<\/a>. In July, they dropped a new track, \u201cToday\u2019s Song,\u201d<\/a> and the 2026 tour announcement was accompanied by a new single, \u201cAsking for a Friend.\u201d In a statement, Grohl said the song was \u201cfor those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear.
