\n\tThe Cure<\/a> have announced they are releasing The Show of a Lost World concert film, featuring all of the songs from their latest album, 2024\u2019s Songs of a Lost World<\/a>. The film hits select theaters worldwide on Dec. 11 for a limited time.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe concert was filmed during their intimate show at Troxy in London on Nov. 1, 2024, where the band performed Songs of a Lost World<\/a> in full for the first and only time. Tickets go on sale on Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. ET via the film\u2019s official website.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tThe recut, remixed, and 4K remastered The Show of a Lost World film includes a new surround sound mix by the Cure\u2019s Robert Smith<\/a>. Nick Wickham \u2014 who has directed concert films for Madonna, Rihanna, Beyonc\u00e9, and the Cure previously, among others \u2014 helms the new film.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe concert film includes the band\u2019s full performance from the night, where they performed 31 songs. Alongside encompassing every song from The Show of a Lost World, the film showcases a five-song set marking the 45th anniversary of their sophomore LP, Seventeen Seconds. It also spans hits and other gems from their nearly five-decade career, such as \u201cBoys Don\u2019t Cry,\u201d \u201cIn Between Days,\u201d \u201cA Night Like This,\u201d \u201cDisintegration,\u201d \u201cThe Walk,\u201d and many more.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe\u00a0Cure\u2019s impact cannot be underestimated and this film is a testament to the artistry and depth of their music,\u201d Mark Allenby \u2014 the CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, one of the distributors behind the film\u2019s release \u2014 said in a statement. \u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s a pleasure to bring The Show of a Lost World to cinemas globally and give fans everywhere the opportunity to experience together this extraordinary concert on the big screen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThough the band took 16 years between albums when Songs of a Lost World arrived in the fall of 2024 following 2008\u2019s 4:13 Dream, the Cure hinted<\/a> that a new studio LP may come much sooner. Last month, they revealed via an updated bio on their official website<\/a> that \u201cIn March 2025 the band went back into Rockfield Studios to record 13 more songs for a follow up album.\u201d They also alluded to the concert film that now has a release date.<\/p>\n

\n\tNext summer, the Cure are set to tour through Europe and the U.K., beginning with their headlining set at Primavera Sound<\/a> in Barcelona in June.<\/p>\n
