\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Amazon MX Player\u2019s Rise and Fall<\/a> has become the most-watched show in the Indian streamer\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

\n\tData provided by the service suggests the Banijay Asia-made reality series has set records in viewership, social engagement and audience participation.<\/p>\n

\n\tOver six weeks, the daily show amassed almost 500 million views on the player and topped local reality streaming charts. That puts it above other Amazon MX Player shows such as Aashram, Bhaukaal and Sixer.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe series featured celebritirs such as John Abraham, Pankaj Tripathi, Riteish Deshmukh, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Reddy, Samay Raina, Elvish Yadav, Uorfi Javed and Kusha Kapila. Based on the Channel 4 series, which bombed in the UK, they took up roles as either Rulers or Workers, with the Rulers living in a luxury penthouse and the Workers housed in the basement and made to carry out tasks to add to the prize pot. All3Media International shops the format worldwide and struck the license deal in India.<\/p>\n

\n\tHaving begun well, with Ormax Media data placing its first and second weeks just behind the long-running Bigg Boss in the ratings, it has continued to grow an audience. In a first-of-its-kind pact, the show ran on both Amazon MX Player and Sony Entertainment Television, as it attracted the likes of Lux Cozi and McDowell\u2019s, who partnered on brand integration moments and other interactive audience touchpoints.<\/p>\n
