{"id":115400,"date":"2025-11-04T19:17:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T19:17:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/115400\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T19:17:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T19:17:07","slug":"samsung-previews-hdr10-plus-advanced-its-answer-to-dolby-vision-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/115400\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung previews HDR10 Plus Advanced, its answer to Dolby Vision 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">During a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/johnarcher\/2025\/11\/03\/samsung-responds-to-dolby-vision-2-with-new-hdr10-advanced-standard-and-a-major-streamer-is-already-onboard\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">press junket last week<\/a>, Samsung showed a simulated demo of the new dynamic HDR format, and it includes six features similar to what the recently-revealed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/768842\/dolby-vision-2-launch-content-intelligence-tone-mapping\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dolby Vision 2<\/a> will offer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">TVs from Samsung and any other manufacturers who support it will be able to boost picture brightness for 4,000-5,000 nit TVs that have hit the market, adapt the image to specific genres, control the level of motion smoothing, improve visual performance of streamed games and adapt to ambient light conditions, have improved tone mapping for different areas of the screen, and more precise color control.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">The format will need support from streaming services for viewers to actually experience these benefits, though.
