In a recent interview while promoting ‘Jatadhara’, Shilpa opened up on her equation with brother-in-law, superstar Mahesh Babu and how he is as a person. “He is family and is one of the kindest souls I\u2019ve met. As an actor, I\u2019m a fan of Mahesh. He is my brother-in-law and he is\u2026I mean, you know what? Honestly, he is one person I would say who only wants the best for everyone. There\u2019s no malice, there\u2019s no jealousy, there\u2019s no envy. He is just what you see of him,” she said during an interview with PRema. <\/p>\n

Mahesh Babu is widely known in the Telugu film industry for his humility and for often appreciating films across different languages on social media. When Shilpa was asked whether she had ever considered acting in one of his films, she smiled and said, \u201cNo, I haven\u2019t crossed that path yet. But maybe if this film does well\u2026I haven\u2019t asked him about it,\u201d referring to \u2018Jatadhara\u2019.For those unfamiliar, Shilpa\u2019s sister, former actress Namrata Shirodkar, has been married to Mahesh Babu for two decades.
