Ace\u201d in the show, which is set to go back into production later this year in Cape Town, South Africa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tNetflix\u2019s live-action adaptation of One Piece is based on Japan\u2019s highest-selling manga series of all time by Eiichiro Oda. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe high-seas adventure \u201cfollows Monkey D. Luffy on his quest to find the legendary fabled treasure, the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tWhen the first season premiered in 2023, the live-action series spent eight weeks on the streamer\u2019s Global Top 10, reaching no. 1 in more than 75 countries and was the first Netflix English-language series to debut at No. 1 in Japan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMaridue\u00f1a also had the starring role in DC\u2019s 2023 superhero film Blue Beetle. DC Studios co-chair James Gunn has said that he still sees a place for the character in the studio\u2019s new phase, saying he will \u201cfit in very nicely,\u201d but no specific plans for the character\u2019s return have yet been announced.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe second season of the Netflix show, One Piece: Into the Grand Line, will premiere on March 10, 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Xolo Maridue\u00f1a is jumping from one Netflix family friendly hit to another.
