\n\tMillie Bobby Brown<\/a> is opening up about mom life after welcoming her first child with husband Jake Bongiovi.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with British Vogue <\/a>published Wednesday, the Stranger Things star talked about her and Bongiovi adopting a baby girl: \u201cI really want a big family \u2014 I\u2019m one of four; he\u2019s one of four. I don\u2019t see having your own child, you know, as really any different [than] adopting.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe young couple \u2014 Brown is 21 while Bongiovi is 23 \u2014 secretly wed in May 2024, after having been together since 2021. <\/p>\n

\n\tSpeaking about her life as a new parent, Brown added, \u201cIt\u2019s been a beautiful, amazing journey \u2014 she\u2019s taught us so much already. Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It\u2019s just endless joy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen reflecting on splitting up parental duties, Brown said, \u201cWe are 50-50 on everything. That\u2019s why I\u2019m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life \u2014 he is just the most amazing dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThough Brown spoke about being a new mom, she remained firm on protecting private details about her daughter including her personality traits and name.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFor me, it\u2019s really important to protect her and her story until she\u2019s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,\u201d Brown told the publication. \u201cIt\u2019s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that\u2019s something we\u2019d support. But right now, as she\u2019s so little. As her parents, it\u2019s our job to protect her from that.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tIn regards to her name, Brown said she won\u2019t disclose it publicly until \u201cshe\u2019s ready to decide for herself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBrown and Bongiovi announced the news<\/a> that they welcomed a baby girl in August sharing in an Instagram post, \u201cThis summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview on the\u00a0Smartless\u00a0podcast, Brown had shared that she was ready to start a family. \u201cMy mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19,\u201d she explained at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a cover story for\u00a0Vanity Fair, Brown said that she and her husband discussed dreams of parenthood before tying the knot. \u201cWe talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we\u2019re looking for, the kind of careers we want. It\u2019s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was.
