Angela Russo-Otstot\u00a0and\u00a0Michael Disco\u00a0will produce John Rambo for\u00a0AGBO, alongside\u00a0Kevin King Templeton,\u00a0Les Weldon, and\u00a0Jonathan Yunger\u00a0for\u00a0Millennium Media.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLionsgate\u00a0recently <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/lionsgate-millennium-deal-rambo-expendables-rights-1236416604\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/lionsgate-millennium-deal-rambo-expendables-rights-1236416604\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">acquired global <\/a>distribution rights to John Rambo and is launching international sales at the American Film Market. The prequel, scheduled to start production in Thailand in early 2026, is set during the Vietnam War and\u00a0will explore the formative experiences that shaped the Rambo action hero made famous by Sylvester Stallone in the 1980s.
