\n\tGwen Stefani<\/a> is in a joyous holiday mood, but she definitely has some notes for old St. Nick. The solo star and No Doubt frontwoman dropped a new Christmas classic on Wednesday (Nov. 5) morning, \u201cShake the Snow Globe,\u201d as part of Amazon Music\u2019s new clutch of holiday exclusives from artists including Marc Anthony, Mariah the Scientist, Vanessa Mai and others.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOh this season\u2019s got me thinking \u2019bout Mrs. Claus\/ Why does Kris get the credit?\/ Can we take a second and give her a round of applause?,\u201d Stefani sings over the bouncy, horn-spike arrangement of the original song that is part of Amazon MGM\u2019s upcoming star-studded holiday film Oh. What Fun. The movie, directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick, The Idea of You) stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Dennis Leary and Chlo\u00eb Grace Moretz and will debut on Dec. 3.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is the first time I\u2019ve ever been asked to write a song for a specific moment in a film,\u201d Stefani said in a statement. \u201cIt made me nervous, excited, and inspired to take on the challenge of creating a Christmas song that feels up tempo, nostalgic and reflects the sentiment of the movie,\u00a0Oh.What.Fun.\u201d The singer also previewed the snow-flaked, technicolor video<\/a> for \u201cShake the Snow Globe\u201d on her Instagram on Wednesday morning, writing, \u201cthe Holidays are so magical and i wanted this video to capture the sparkle + joy of the szn.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition to Stefani\u2019s ray of sunshine track, other artists contributing to the Amazon Music holiday celebration include Anthony, with a cover of Jos\u00e9 Feliciano\u2019s Christmas classic \u201cFeliz Navidad\/ I Wanna Wish You a Merry Christmas,\u201d Mariah the Scientist\u2019s take on Eartha Kitt\u2019s \u201cSanta Baby\u201d and Mai\u2019s new original, \u201cChristmas in the Room.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tOther Amazon Music Originals holiday songs from the international lineup of artists include: composer\/pianist Kris Bowers\u2019 new composition \u201cSomeplace Like Here,\u201d France\u2019s Amir covering F.R. David\u2019s \u201cWords,\u201d Canadian singer Jamie Fine taking on Justin Bieber\u2019s \u201cMistletoe,\u201d Australian indie act Spacey Jane covering the Eagles\u2019 \u201cPlease Come Home For Christmas,\u201d Italian singer Marco Mengoni\u2019s first English-language release, the original \u201cComing Home,\u201d a medley of carols from Las Migas titled \u201cNavidad con Las Migas (Medley)\u201d and Canadian singer-songwriter Eli Rose\u2019s dance-y cover of Beau Dommage\u2019s \u201c23 D\u00e9cembre.\u201d<\/p>\n
