\n\tJimmy Kimmel<\/a> is pleased that Democrats did well in the election this week, but even more pleased that Donald Trump<\/a> isn\u2019t taking the news very well. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was a big night for Democrats,\u201d Kimmel said during his monologue on last night\u2019s Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m glad it was because we needed a big night. Democrats have had fewer wins this year than the Jets. And so, the Democrats won everything\u2014they won big races on the East Coast. They won the little ones in the South. In New York City, Zohran Mamdani<\/a> was elected mayor<\/a> with more than 50 percent of the vote. Which means your racist aunt and uncle have a new name to mispronounce this Thanksgiving.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel noted that it was \u201cnot a good night for the president\u201d because \u201ceverything he touched was a loser.\u201d \u201cTrump hasn\u2019t been this embarrassed since he found out there was a Donald Trump Jr.,\u201d Kimmel quipped. <\/p>\n

\n\tHe added that Trump, of course, has an excuse \u201cfor the losing.\u201d \u201cIn fact, he\u2019s got two of them,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cHe wrote, \u2018Trump wasn\u2019t on the ballot, and shutdown were the two reasons Republications lost elections tonight.\u2019 Now, if Republicans had won and he wasn\u2019t on the ballot, would he take credit for that? Oh yes, he definitely would.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel shared a second post from Trump, which read, \u201cAnd so it begins.\u201d Kimmel noted, \u201cWhich was either a response to Mamdani winning the mayoral race or he just sat down on the toilet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe host went on to recount how Republicans immediately began to \u201cscream\u201d about election fraud. \u201cIt\u2019s weird how it\u2019s only fraud when they lose, right? I mean, what are the chances?\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel also reflected on the ongoing government shut down, which is impacting numerous sectors of the country in significant ways. \u201cTrump has been desperately trying to convince anyone who will listen that Democrats are responsible for the shut down and that it has nothing to do with him trying to hide the Epstein files,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cThe gaslighting has reached a fever pitch as Trump cuts off the supply of food to children, families, senior citizens, etc.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this week, Kimmel announced<\/a> that he and his show created a food donation center \u2014 named the \u201cBig, Beautiful Food Bank,\u201d in reference to President Donald Trump\u2019s so-called\u00a0Big, Beautiful Bill<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 to aid those in need.
