Following much speculation, the release date for the first Avengers: Doomsday<\/a> trailer has been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Marvel Studios<\/a>\u2019 Avengers: Doomsday is now in post-production. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers, the movie is scheduled to arrive in United States theaters next year. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars<\/a>, will then be released in 2027.<\/p>\n

When will the Avengers: Doomsday trailer be released?<\/p>\n

There have been many rumors floating around that the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer will be attached to 20th Century Studios\u2019 Avatar: Fire and Ash<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Collider<\/a> is now confirming that the Avengers: Doomsday trailer will indeed be shown before James Cameron\u2019s next Avatar movie, unless that \u201cdecision could change over the next month.\u201d This would make sense given that Doomsday will be released almost exactly one year from Avatar: Fire and Ash.<\/p>\n

Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on December 19, 2025. Whether or not the Doomsday trailer will be immediately released online remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

The big question that now arises is when the first trailer for Spider-Man 4<\/a>, also known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>, will be released. There have been some rumors that Spider-Man 4\u2019s trailer will also play in front of Avatar: Fire and Ash; however, Brand New Day is also scheduled to come out in July 2026, approximately four and a half months before Doomsday. There\u2019s been no official word from Sony or Marvel<\/a> on when it will be released, as of yet.<\/p>\n

Plot details for Avengers: Doomsday remain under wraps at this time. The movie\u2019s cast includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mej\u00eda as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M\u2019Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 19, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU<\/a>.
