Signature Apothecary \u2014 the Roaring Fork Valley\u2019s newest luxury beauty and wellness organization with a mission of offering tailored events and gifts with a rolodex of local healers, mystics, and more \u2014 is the host behind both the event planner and public portions of this Sunday. According to Tracey \u201cTrayfo\u201d Mishel, visionary and product designer for Signature Apothecary, the aim is to show everyone what\u2019s available to them to help raise consciousness and promote healing.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo many people in the valley don\u2019t know what\u2019s available,\u201d Mishel said. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty infinite \u2026 The sky is the limit.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
While the event will run 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for industry invites, the public is welcome from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at The Hoffman Hotel, 30 Kodiak Drive in Basalt. Entry is free, with some stations providing the ability to purchase products.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest thing I\u2019d love to create out of this event is more connection,\u201d said Semple, The Aspen Times\u2019 acclaimed columnist known for \u201cMoon Mondays.\u201d She will be offering both mini astrology readings and gift cards available for purchase. \u201cThere\u2019s a really great cross-section of alternative healer opportunities here that don\u2019t reflect being in your normal, small town Colorado.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Semple, amidst the stress and disconnection of the country\u2019s political climate, this event offers the opportunity to come together and celebrate those working toward building others up.<\/p>\n
\u201cCome have an experience and walk away feeling upbeat and positive about what\u2019s happening in our valley and world,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Lauren \u201cLu\u201d Redfern, brand manager and engagement coordinator for Signature Apothecary, also highlighted the uniqueness of what the valley has to offer. According to Redfern, Signature Apothecary\u2019s mission is all about including as many experiences as possible to events from weddings to corporate events to wellness retreats and everything in between, with no experience ever being exactly the same.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur vision is to build a rolodex of practitioners, mystics, and healers,\u201d she said, \u201cto have this rolodex of interesting, amazing people who are gifted who can bring different layers to your event.\u201d<\/p>\n
And for those who might not be planning any upcoming events, Signature Apothecary\u2019s Sunday experience is still a great opportunity to start gearing up for the holidays.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a meet-and-greet with these healing modalities available in the valley, as well as having a gift-giving aspect to it with the holidays coming up,\u201d Redfern said. \u201cWe can help people curate gifts for the holidays, or for birthdays.\u201d<\/p>\n
Signature Apothecary will be offering custom organic skin products, soothing bath salts, and curated loose-leaf tea blends, alongside each healer\u2019s individual, tailored stations. Every product offered has been tested by Mishel on her own healing journey following the isolation of COVID-19 and a divorce, and she can vouch for them all.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really deep-dived into the healing community,\u201d she said. \u201cThe people who are part of this event are all healers I\u2019ve been working with or known for an extensive amount of time. This is not just a group of randomly chosen people. They\u2019re all the real deal.\u201d<\/p>\n
She noted that she hopes to include even more healers and practitioners going forward, growing Signature Apothecary\u2019s community.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is an infinite concept \u2014 of the way it can grow and the people who can be involved in it,\u201d She said.<\/p>\n
Mishel and Redfern, along with their partners Joe Alexander \u2014 content creator, team orchestrator, and logistics manager \u2014 and Bridgete Boyle \u2014 event logistics and concierge \u2014 are committed to fostering an inclusive and fun vibe not just Sunday but at every event they\u2019re a part of. That energy is infused in their products as well, a collaboration not just between business partners but friends.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re really excited to have the opportunity and to have this friendship,\u201d Redfern said. \u201cEveryone in the business went to Burning Man together, and it opened up our hearts and minds.\u201d<\/p>\n
As a result of this, Signature Apothecary can also offer art cars, like those seen at the iconic Black Rock Desert festival, to cater offerings at any event.<\/p>\n
