Austin, 46 and rapper and actor Ice-T, 67, have been married for more than two decades and share 9-year-old daughter Chanel.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe wouldn\u2019t see us having an old-fashioned relationship but we know each other\u2019s places,\u201d added Austin.<\/p>\n
Austin explained that a traditional relationship works well for the couple.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe does his job, works hard \u2026 for his money and I feel like my place is [to] keep the house right,\u201d she told Bunnie XO. \u201cThat is what I manage \u2014 I manage the house, I keep it right, I keep everything sane because when he comes out from the streets into the home, he can now relax.\u201d<\/p>\n
Austin opined on why some women who wish for a relationship don\u2019t achieve that happiness.<\/p>\n
\u201cNowadays, I feel like women must be independent \u2026 \u2018I\u2019m independent. I don\u2019t need a man,\u2019\u201d said Austin. \u201cOK, if you use that, you\u2019re never going to get a man \u2026 because men, they want a woman to be submissive \u2014 and I know I\u2019ll probably get a lot of hate from that.\u201d Austin added that she considers herself to be a \u201cpower woman.\u201d<\/p>\n
