\n\tThe winner of the\u00a02025 CFDA<\/a>\/Vogue<\/a> Fashion Fund\u00a0is \u2014\u00a0Ashlynn Park\u00a0of\u00a0Ashlyn. This is the second big CFDA<\/a> win for Park in a week \u2014 last week she won the Emerging Designer of the Year Award at the CFDA Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis year\u2019s runners-up at the CFDA\/Vogue<\/a> Fashion Fund are Julian Louie\u00a0of\u00a0Aubero\u00a0and\u00a0Stephanie Suberville of Heirlome.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe coveted prizes were revealed at Monday night\u2019s\u00a0CFDA\/Vogue Fashion Fund dinner that was hosted by Reliance Retailer\u2019s Isha Ambani, Zac Posen, Anna Wintour and Chloe Malle at the Crane Club in New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\tGuests heard the news from the model Alex Consani. Posen, Gap Inc.\u2019s executive vice president and creative director, was also lined up as the keynote speaker for the event. Set up after the terrorist attacks of 9\/11 to help emerging designers and foster the next generation, the fund has helped about 200 designers and has given more than $7.7 million in support to date.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the winner, Park picked up a monetary award of $300,000. The two runners-up, Louie and Suberville, were each awarded a grant of $100,000. That trio, as well as all of the finalists, will gain business mentorships.<\/p>\n

\n\tFounded in 2020 by Park, Ashlyn\u00a0is known for its modern tailoring and design ethos that respects time, people and the environment. Her prior experience included working for\u00a0Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake and Raf Simons at Calvin Klein. What began as a few pieces the first season has flourished into a full collection of conceptual, easy-to-wear separates, dresses and outerwear in fabrics like silk jersey and cotton sateen.<\/p>\n

\n\tPark\u2019s aim is to counter the overproduction and overconsumption that is common throughout the fashion industry with a focus on zero-waste creation. Park has previously been honored as a LVMH Prize finalist in 2022 and the designer was the 18th winner of Samsung\u2019s SFDF prize. Park also took part in the Matchesfashion Innovator and the Bergdorf Goodman Radar Programs.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement, Wintour, chief content officer of Cond\u00e9 Nast, and global editorial director of Vogue, said,\u00a0\u201cWe just saw Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the winners of our very first CFDA\/Vogue Fashion Fund back in 2004, triumph with their Loewe debut in Paris. There are such world class talents working in America, and I am just as excited and optimistic about how far this year\u2019s finalists will go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe other finalists were\u00a0Don\u2019t Let Disco\u2019s Ashley Moubayed, Gabe Gordon\u2019s Gabe Gordon and Timothy Gibbons, Meruert Tolegen\u2019s\u00a0Meruert Planul-Tolegen\u00a0and\u00a0Bach Mai, Bernard James, Jamie Okuma\u00a0and Peter Do \u2014 all of whom have namesake labels.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe CFDA\u2019s chief executive officer and president Steven Kolb said,\u00a0\u201cThe CFDA\/Vogue Fashion Fund is about giving emerging designers the support they need to build lasting businesses.
