There’s some emotional scenes on Coronation Street<\/a> next week, as well as outrage and secrecy.<\/p>\n

Carla Connor is furious when an accusation is made, leading to some police questioning. She’s convinced Becky Swain, the ex of her fianc\u00e9e Lisa Swain, is to blame, but can she prove it?<\/p>\n

It kicks off when Carla tells Lisa she\u2019s planned a day of treats to celebrate the anniversary of their first kiss. But she’s interrupted when a police officer asks Carla to join her at the station, as someone has made a complaint of fraudulent activity in her factory.<\/p>\n

Carla’s reeling, but assists – while she’s sure she knows what’s happened. She tells Lisa that it’s Becky behind it all, but will Lisa agree? Soon the allegation against Carla is unfounded, and Carla is free to go.<\/p>\n

Carla’s on the warpath though, but how far will she go? Also next week, Roy Cropper sparks a new mystery that concerns Nina Lucas.<\/p>\n

She asks him about his new fixation on the post, and soon asks him what his big secret is – but what will he say and will he admit the truth? When Ed Bailey installs a library box in the caf\u00e9 for Roy on the advice of his new mystery friend, it’s revealed Roy has been writing secret letters to a mystery person.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Kirk Sutherland tells Ryan Connor he\u2019s thinking of starting a podcast offering advice for the owners of dogs<\/a> with behavioural problems. It’s an emotional time for the Platts next week, as the news about Shona and David’s unborn baby is revealed to their family.<\/p>\n

After a baby scan revealed the baby has a tumour on their neck, Shona has decided to go ahead with the pregnancy<\/a>. David says it’s time to explain to those closest to them what is going on.<\/p>\n

Shona is reluctant though, only for David to ignore her wishes. In the Bistro, David blurts out to Nick, Toyah and Bethany that the baby is really poorly and may not survive.<\/p>\n

The family have lots of questions but Shona has enough and storms out. Also next week, Eva Price and mother-in-law Maggie head off for a pamper session, so might they finally get along?<\/p>\n

Kit Green and Sarah Platt move in together, while Will Driscoll is left jealous when his secret lover Megan gets talking to Daniel Osbourne. It comes amid the soap’s grooming storyline. Daniel offers to help Megan find a job at the school and they trade numbers.<\/p>\n
