Something has changed within Jeff Goldblum \u2014 and he\u2019s not quite the same after filming the movie adaptation of the Broadway musical \u201cWicked.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Goldblum took his journey to the mythical land of Oz alongside Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the veteran actor gave up meat \u2014 prompted by the animal cruelty depicted in the film, he revealed. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s changed me,\u201d Goldblum told the U.K. program \u201cThis Morning\u201d<\/a> on Monday. \u201cAfter doing this movie, we talked about the animal cruelty. I stopped eating meat and poultry.\u201d <\/p>\n

He went on to discuss how his newfound lifestyle will affect his holiday plans. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis Christmas and Thanksgiving, I may be having another something else,\u201d he said, to which one of the hosts suggested a chestnut roast \u2014 a popular dish in Britain during the Christmas season.<\/p>\n

Goldblum concluded with a message for the general public: \u201cWe need the world to work for everybody on Earth, and every creature, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldblum said he was \u201cthrilled\u201d to be a part of \u201cWicked,\u201d though he admitted to having some reservations about the shoes he had to fill. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt did occur to me, you know, people are going to have big expectations \u2026 and great people have done it,\u201d he shared before expressing hope that audiences would embrace his participation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seems to have worked out.
