Bruce Willis<\/a>\u2019 wife, Emma Heming Willis, opened up about the years of heartbreak and uncertainty she faced before the actor\u2019s health diagnosis. <\/p>\n

In a new interview with Vanity Fair,<\/a> the model admitted that she even considered divorcing Willis at one point. <\/p>\n

\u201cI felt like my marriage was crumbling,\u201d Heming Willis shared. <\/p>\n

She admitted that she thought to herself, \u201c\u2018What is going on? This is not the person that I married. Something is just so off.\u2019 And I just couldn\u2019t figure it out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heming Willis previously spoke about the \u201cchaotic\u201d two years before Willis\u2019 diagnosis, and said she first noticed things were off when \u201cannoying\u201d miscommunications eventually shifted into major personality changes. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat instinct made me realize that we should go to the doctor,\u201d the now-47-year-old told Oprah Winfrey during an interview on her podcast<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI finally understood that those crazy marital issues were not Bruce,\u201d she explained. \u201cNeither were those off moments and subtle shifts in his personality. They were the result of his brain being dismantled, taking part of the husband I knew and loved with it.\u201d <\/p>\n

When the \u201cSixth Sense\u201d actor was eventually diagnosed with aphasia<\/a> \u2015 a condition that impairs the ability to communicate \u2015 in 2022, things began to add up.<\/p>\n

The next year, he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Willis\u2019 ex-wife, Demi Moore, also opened up to Winfrey about what it\u2019s been like to see the man she shares three children with change amid his health battle. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s difficult.
