Amy Schumer shut down the narrative that she deleted all of her pre-weight loss photos on Instagram<\/a> because she didn\u2019t like how she looked.<\/p>\n

Fans noticed that the comedian, 44, wiped her entire Instagram except for one carousel of herself in a red minidress and a pair of black Chanel heels \u2014 showing off her slimmed-down figure<\/a> \u2014 on Tuesday. In a follow-up post on Wednesday, Schumer addressed the speculation directly.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m proud of how I\u2019ve looked always,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI have been working to be pain free and I finally am. My endometriosis is better. My back is healing<\/a>. I no longer have Cushing syndrome<\/a> so my face went back to normal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schumer insisted she didn\u2019t purposely \u201cgo on a weight loss journey,\u201d and that her main focus has always been on her health.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure my weight will always fluctuate,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m a perimenopausal woman on hrt meds. Wishing you strength and self love on whatever path you\u2019re on as long as it\u2019s kind and respectful to all people. No matter their weight race or religion peace!\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cTrainwreck\u201d star has been open about using weight-loss drugs to improve her health.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, she admitted during her appearance on the \u201cHoward Stern Show\u201d that she tried Ozempic almost three years ago, but it made her horribly sick. She then switched to Mounjaro and lost 35 pounds without any negative side effects.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy. I want to \u2018get down\u2019 more, if you know what I mean,\u201d she shared on Instagram in March. \u201cI\u2019m talking about sex. So, yeah, that\u2019s been great. Mounjaro\u2019s been great.\u201d<\/p>\n
