Justin Baldoni has alleged that Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively\u2019s husband, sent him angry texts. Recently, PEOPLE<\/a> obtained court documents that included Baldoni\u2019s own messages, in which he described a tense meeting at the couple\u2019s New York apartment in January 2024. According to the publication, Baldoni said he confronted the couple due to the serious allegations made by his co-star<\/a>.<\/p>\n He sent the message to Rainn Wilson and explained that Reynolds spoke with him \u201clike a five-year-old.\u201d He wrote, \u201cRyan was talking to me like a five-year-old and scolding me. They essentially said that Jamey [Heath] and I are not who we claimed to be and that for us to have a podcast is unsafe because it makes people feel like we are safe.\u201d<\/p>\n The director further added that Reynolds was reading<\/a> a list of allegations from a phone and also handed him an apology to read aloud. He recalls the words \u201ccreepy\u201d and \u201cabuse\u201d being used about his behavior, further noting that many incidents were just \u201ctaken completely out of context.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cClouds\u201d actor further wrote in the texts about how he felt \u201cemotionally paralyzed,\u201d a feeling that he hadn\u2019t \u201cexperienced in years.\u201d In the texts, he continued saying that his \u201cbrain was struggling\u201d because he felt everything was \u201cso unjust.\u201d He knew that \u201cthe only path forward was to acknowledge her and Ryan\u2019s feelings and apologize and take the wrath of an angry husband.
