Thousands of Hoosiers may have forgotten they have retirement benefits they\u2019ve earned through public service.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why the Indiana Public Retirement System has launched a secure public database that all Hoosiers can search to identify a potentially forgotten pension benefit, defined contribution account, or account distribution from their Public Employees\u2019 Retirement Fund or Teachers\u2019 Retirement Fund.<\/p>\n

The INPRS is also looking to reconnect 2,379 retirees, survivors, and beneficiaries with the funds previously issued to them but have not been utilized, often because of outdated address records. In some situations, benefit checks were delivered as intended but never deposited.<\/p>\n

Click here<\/a> to search the database for yourself, friends, family members, and former colleagues. When a search for someone other than yourself is successful, let that person know right away.<\/p>\n

When calling INPRS, individuals should be prepared to authenticate their identity. INPRS is only able to assist members, survivors, and beneficiaries directly regarding their accounts and the reason their name is present on the Reclaim Your Retirement secure database.<\/p>\n
