{"id":141155,"date":"2025-11-19T05:51:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T05:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/141155\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T05:51:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T05:51:09","slug":"b-c-health-workers-reach-tentative-four-year-deal-with-employers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/141155\/","title":{"rendered":"B.C. health workers reach tentative four-year deal with employers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The bargaining association representing more than 67,000 health-care workers in British Columbia\u2019s hospitals and long-term care facilities says it has reached a new four-year deal with its employers.<\/p>\n<p>The Facilities Bargaining Association, representing nine separate unions, says the new deal will see members receive a three-per-cent general wage increase in each of the four years.<\/p>\n<p>The group says the new agreement also includes increases for some shift premiums, leaves and allowances, and it will also expand occupational safety measures.<\/p>\n<p>The deal has new supports for Indigenous workers as well as enhanced workplace diversity and work-life balance.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate statement, the B.C.
