Slipknot<\/a> have sold a majority stake in their music catalogue to HarbourView Equity Partners \u2013 find out more below.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, it was reported that the nine-piece masked metallers from Iowa were looking to sell their past music catalogue<\/a> following their split from Roadrunner Records in 2022 with \u2018The End, So Far\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the time, it was reported that Slipknot\u2019s back music catalogue was valued at $120million, and would include ownership rights to their publishing and master recording royalties.<\/p>\n

Now, HarbourView Equity Partners have confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> that they\u2019ve finalised a deal with the nu-metal icons. While neither the band nor the company divulged the finalised amount, they did confirm that the deal includes publishing and royalty rights.<\/p>\n

Slipknot\u2019s founding percussionist and band leader Shawn \u2018Clown\u2019 Crahan said in a statement: \u201cAfter 25 years of taking on the music business, we find ourselves with a partner that is willing to sign onto continuing what Slipknot started. Only they want to go even bigger. Get ready. Hail The Knot.\u201d<\/p>\n

In other news, Slipknot\u2019s new drummer Eloy Casagrande recently revealed that the band are working on new music<\/a>. \u201cWe are cooking, we are doing some new music, for sure,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The band have yet to release any new material since 2022\u2019s\u00a0\u2018The End, So Far\u2019<\/a>, though\u00a0they teased a new song \u2018Long May You Die\u2019<\/a>, recorded shortly after Casagrande joined in early 2024.
