Next week on EastEnders, Cindy\u2019s investigation has dire consequences when Jasmine reacts badly and pushes her down the stairs! Meanwhile, Lauren\u2019s world crumbles when she is the victim of a scam, and Anna and Freddie make plans to leave Walford.<\/p>\n

1. Cindy and Lauren get digging\"cindy<\/p>\n

Cindy and Lauren\u2019s suspicions of Jasmine<\/a> grow, and they decide to team up and dig for information together. They spot an opportunity when Jasmine leaves her phone lying around, and use the device to contact her mother, Anita.<\/p>\n

The pair arrange a meeting with Anita, and are shocked when she warns them that Jasmine has a dark side that they should be wary of\u2026<\/p>\n

2. Ross makes a mistake\"ross,<\/p>\n

As Ross and Vicki’s two-year anniversary arrives, the former couple reflect on their relationship. Vicki heads to Harry\u2019s Barn for a drink, but she is annoyed by the behaviour of the male customers. Chelsea isn\u2019t happy with Vicki\u2019s attitude and urges her not to let Joel\u2019s attack affect the way she views all men.<\/p>\n

When Ross arrives, he spots Vicki dancing and decides to join her \u2013 but it\u2019s the wrong call, and Vicki is furious that he assumed she wanted company.<\/p>\n

3. Lauren is intrigued\"lauren<\/p>\n

Lauren and Peter are presented with information about an experimental new treatment for children who are visually impaired. When Ian finds out about this, he immediately assumes it is a con, but it sparks the interest of Lauren<\/a>, who is keen to investigate something that could help Jimmy.<\/p>\n

4. Jasmine attacks Cindy\"cindy<\/p>\n

After their enlightening meeting with Anita, Cindy heads to The Albert and tells Jasmine that she has spoken to her elusive mum. Jasmine suddenly flies into a rage when she hears this and pushes Cindy down the stairs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cindy is left for dead, and Oscar later finds her lifeless body in the Square. He immediately alerts the Beales about what has happened and they rush to help Cindy. When Oscar asks Jasmine about the attack, she initially denies pushing Cindy, but then decides to spin a false story. Will her actions be exposed?<\/p>\n

5. Ross and Vicki grow closer\"ross,<\/p>\n

Despite offending her, Ross manages to get Vicki to stick around for a drink in The Albert. He tries to make amends and apologises for the mistakes he made with Joel<\/a>. It looks like there\u2019s hope for their relationship, as Ross and Vicki agree to take things slowly \u2013 but will her kiss with Zack be exposed?<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Nigel and Kojo team up\"kojo<\/p>\n

Nigel recently agreed to start making his one of his old scripts into a film<\/a>, with Lexi and Julie at the helm. As the project gets underway, Kojo joins forces with Nigel and gets involved, as he attempts to move forward after his ordeal. How will the movie take shape?<\/p>\n

7. Anna and Freddie make plans\"anna<\/p>\n

Anna and Freddie have rekindled their relationship<\/a>, but Anna breaks the news to him that she is soon leaving Walford to go travelling. Freddie isn\u2019t upset though and instead offers to go to Australia with her<\/a>. However, when Gina heads about Anna and Freddie\u2019s plans, she isn\u2019t happy. Will she encourage Anna not to go?<\/p>\n

8. Lauren is cruelly scammed\"lauren<\/p>\n

Lauren has a conversation with the doctor offering the treatment and is told that the initial cost is \u00a33,000. With \u2018evidence\u2019 about how the treatment works, Lauren confides in Cindy, though worries about where she will get to money. <\/p>\n

At The Vic quiz night fundraiser, there\u2019s an incident with Jimmy that makes Lauren more determined than ever to help her son. But Lauren is soon sent into a panic when she realises that she has been scammed by the fraudulent doctor<\/a>. Has she lost her money forever?<\/p>\n

9. Zoe gets another threat\"zoe<\/p>\n

Kat and Alfie are bombarded with calls from a mystery number and are at the end of their tether. Zoe has a theory about who is phoning<\/a>, but others aren\u2019t convinced she is right. Anthony makes it clear to Zoe that he is here to support her, and she later heads over to see him.<\/p>\n

Later, Zoe finds a Christmas card addressed to her at The Vic, containing a sinister message. Just who is targeting her?<\/p>\n

10. Howie hatches a plan\"howie<\/p>\n

Elaine\u2019s feud with Ian escalates at the final quiz night \u2013 then her focus shifts to generating publicity for the opening of her hotel, Peacock Palace. She turns to Kim, aka the Kimfluencer, for help, but things go wrong when Kim accidentally makes offensive comments about her followers while streaming live. <\/p>\n

As Kim\u2019s follower count suddenly plumets, Howie is determined to save their family\u2019s financial problems. What does he have in mind?<\/p>\n

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.<\/p>\n
