Paris Jackson isn\u2019t one to shy away from speaking her mind, especially when it involves her family. This week, she turned her attention to the estate of her late dad Michael Jackson. In new court docs, she has criticized the upcoming biopic approved by the men running the estate.<\/p>\n
The Michael Jackson biopic isn\u2019t supported by everybody<\/p>\n
The trailer for \u201cMichael\u201d dropped<\/a> earlier this month. But one person who definitely isn\u2019t caught up in the buzz is Paris Jackson. In court documents filed on Tuesday, the model\u2019s attorney calls out the two men in charge of Michael\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n As well as her gripes about how much the men have been paid \u2013 a staggering $148 million \u2013 Paris criticizes their decisions related to the upcoming movie.<\/p>\n In the docs, obtained by US Weekly<\/a>, Paris questions the (presumably expensive) casting of Miles Teller, who plays himself in the biopic. The filing reads: \u201cUndoubtedly, Mr. [John] Branca considers his story to be central to the Michael Jackson story. Nonetheless, it is unclear how this peculiar and presumably costly casting decision will result in commensurate box office receipts.\u201d<\/p>\n Paris\u2019 lawyer also pointed out that one of the estate\u2019s executors doesn\u2019t have any movie-making experience. The filing continues: Mr. Branca\u2019s lack of experience producing dramatic feature films may be at the root of reports that the Estate has had to funds tens of millions of dollars in reshoots after the terms of a well-known settlement agreement prevented the production from using substantial amounts of footage already shot.\u201d<\/p>\n This part seemingly refers to the film being reshot because the third act involved one of Michael\u2019s accusers, Jordan Chandler.
