A new waxwork of the late Princess Diana has been unveiled at the Grevin Museum in Paris, leaving many royal fans confused by the apparent resemblance.<\/p>\n

The waxwork, released in Paris, showcases Diana wearing her infamous “revenge dress”, which she wore in 1994, when news of her marriage breakdown with King Charles became public.<\/p>\n

Taking to Reddit, one user wrote: “Apparently it’s very difficult to do a convincing Princess Diana.”<\/p>\n

Another described it as looking like “Diana’s own evil twin”, with another comparing the waxwork to a “mid-western divorced mum from the 1990s”.<\/p>\n

Another compared it to “Judge Judy playing Diana for Halloween”, with another adding: “Diana is beloved, we are not impressed.”<\/p>\n

The late princess passed away following a car crash in Paris, in the early hours of August 31, 1997.<\/p>\n

Diana and Charles’ eldest son, Prince William, was seen this week alongside his wife, Princess Kate, as she stunned fans in a green velvet dress.<\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Royal Variety Performance for the sixth time, and the future Queen sent royal fans into chaos.<\/p>\n

She was seen wearing the Talbot Runhof Bobonne green velvet gown alongside William in a class tuexdo.<\/p>\n

The sold-out dress was paired with dark green Manolo Blahnik heels, a Jenny Packham “Casa” clutch bag in silver, and Giulia Barela earrings.<\/p>\n

The designer behind the dress has shared how he and his team discovered the royal was wearing the stunning costume.<\/p>\n

Co-founder at Talbot Runhof, Adrian Runhof, said Buckingham Palace only notified the company the future Queen would be wearing their gown half an hour before her appearance.<\/p>\n

“Our name and our dress have been posted worldwide, so we are very thankful to her,” Mr Runhof told People magazine.<\/p>\n

He continued: “We think she is great, we respect her, and it’s a great honour for us that she picked this dress, that she obviously liked it enough to buy it and select it for the event last night.”<\/p>\n

Mr Runhof explained the dress has been in their collection for multiple seasons and he believes Kate bought it through a department store.<\/p>\n

He said: “I think she bought it a few seasons ago and found it in her wardrobe and thought, ‘Why don’t I wear this? It’s so beautiful’.”<\/p>\n

Royal fans took to social media to showcase their love for the look, with one fan saying: “She looks gorgeous, but gosh, she must be chilly!”<\/p>\n

Another fan said: “She’s absolutely spectacular!”<\/p>\n

A third stated: “That dress is oh my god, stunning!”<\/p>\n

Another added: “One of my favourite colours!
