In the film, Hawke stars as legendary lyricist Lorenz Hart, alongside Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale and Andrew Scott.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cEthan Hawke has spent four decades building one of the most adventurous and prolific careers in film, consistently delivering performances defined by depth, intelligence, and fearless originality,\u201d says Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi. \u201cIn\u00a0Blue Moon, he brings those same qualities to his show-stopping portrayal of Lorenz Hart, capturing the famed lyricist at a moment when his life is unraveling as his former partner Richard Rodgers debuts\u00a0Oklahoma!. It is a privilege to present the Career Achievement Award to Ethan Hawke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn total, Hawke and Linklater have teamed up on nine collaborations, including Boyhood and the Before trilogy. His other credits include Dead Poet\u2019s Society, Training Day (for which he received an Academy Award nomination), Sinister, The Purge, and The Black Phone. He has directed films such as Wildcat and Blaze.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHawke joins previously announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/sinners-michael-b-jordan-icon-award-palm-springs-1236423268\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">honorees Michael B.
