Police shut down a Tel Aviv nightclub and arrested four of the revelers there after they attacked and attempted to bite officers during a Thursday night raid on the venue.<\/p>\n

Officers were initially called to the club on the city\u2019s hip, bustling Rothschild Boulevard over a brawl that broke out. But law enforcement who arrived at the scene soon became caught up in the violence themselves, after being confronted by two women who tried to stop them from probing the incident.<\/p>\n

The women were later joined by two men who assaulted the officers, hurling threats and even trying to bite the cops. Two officers required medical treatment as a result.<\/p>\n

Additional forces were called to the club and took control of the situation. They arrested the four for assault, obstructing a police officer and making threats. Police swiftly shuttered the establishment.<\/p>\n

The suspects, all in their 20s and 30s, reside in Atlit, Rishon Lezion and Ramat Gan, law enforcement added.<\/p>\n

They were to appear in court on Friday, where police planned to seek an extension of their remand.<\/p>\n

Earlier on Thursday night, a 17-year-old was stabbed and severely injured at a party in Ashdod.<\/p>\n

Paramedics arrived to find the youth conscious but suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Assuta Medical Center in a serious and unstable condition.<\/p>\n

Police were investigating the incident and suspected he had been attending a party in the southern coastal city and had gotten into a fight, which led to the stabbing. Terrorism was not suspected as a motive.<\/p>\n
