The \u201cBad Habits\u201d singer, 34, hasn\u2019t used a cell phone since 2015<\/a>, so when Swift, 35, got engaged<\/a> to fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce<\/a>, 36, in August, she did not tell him right away \u2014 and the musician found out about her engagement via Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n But shortly after, they had a long \u201ccatch-up,\u201d Sheeran revealed in an Access Hollywood<\/a>\u00a0 interview published on YouTube on Friday, Nov. 28.<\/p>\n When asked about the engagement reveal while chatting about his new Netflix special, One Shot with Ed Sheeran<\/a>, he said, \u201cMy way of viewing it is like, me and Taylor are mates, and I will see her.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I saw her a week after that happened. It’s very eccentric. Love it. But when I’m going through saying, ‘Hey, who should we call? Who should we FaceTime?’ I’m going through my texts and being like, ‘Who have I texted within the last like, month of my life?’ “<\/p>\n Sheeran wasn’t there because Swift could only “email him,\u201d she explained \u2014 plus, the \u201cPerfect\u201d singer has to find an iPad to set up a FaceTime call. “This is one of my absolute favorite people on the planet,” the Red songstress told Fallon. “Then, when the news came out I was like, ‘Oh my God we forgot to call Ed! Oh no!’ “<\/p>\n \u201cHe’s like family.
