The couples were selected through a lottery organized by the UAE as part of its humanitarian initiative for Gaza, called “Gallant Knight 3.” Participants were chosen from various parts of the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n
The list of selected couples was published on November 27 on the official social media accounts of the UAE\u2019s Gaza aid campaign. The announcement stated that the goal was \u201cto bring joy to the hearts of Gaza\u2019s residents after months filled with sorrow and pain.\u201d<\/p>\n
The United Arab Emirates was established on December 2, 1971, following Britain\u2019s decision to withdraw from the region. The Gulf federation comprises seven emirates, each with its own legal system.
