Gwyneth Paltrow shared that she and her husband, Brad Falchuk, have completely opposite views when it comes to enjoying the holiday season.<\/p>\n

The actress, 53, called Falchuk a \u201cGrinch\u201d when it comes to the holidays, and admitted that it makes her feel \u201calone\u201d since she loves Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy husband is a little bit of a Grinch so he\u2019s the opposite,\u201d she said on her \u201cGoop\u201d podcast <\/a>Tuesday. \u201cBut I love the decorations, I love the Frank Sinatra Christmas album. I really get into the holiday spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBrad is the worst,\u201d she also said. \u201cHe hates\u00a0Christmas\u00a0music, he\u00a0hates Christmas decorations, he hates roast turkey, like, he hates the traditional dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress said on her \u201cGoop\u201d podcast Tuesday that while she loves Christmas, her husband \u201chates\u201d holiday decorations, music, and even the traditional food. @bradfalchuk \/ Instagram<\/p>\n

When asked if there\u2019s anything the \u201cGlee\u201d co-creator looks forward to the holiday season, she bluntly replied, \u201cHe looks forward to it being over.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the Oscar-winning actress said their children share her enthusiasm for the festive season.<\/p>\n

Paltrow shares two children with her ex-husband<\/a>, British rock star Chris Martin: daughter Apple, 21, and son Moses. 19. She\u2019s also a stepmom to Falchuk\u2019s two kids from his previous marriage to Suzanne Bukinik: daughter Isabella, 21, and son Brody, 18.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u201dI feel very alone in my house in my love for Christmas, although all the kids love it, so they\u2019re on my side,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Paltrow noted that her and her children always spend the holidays together.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do Christmas and Hanukkah,\u201d she shared. \u201cWe have a really fun Christmas morning. We usually take a long time to open presents and then have a long walk on the beach and, you know, eat and stay in pajamas.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cShakespeare in Love\u201d star also shared that although she\u2019s no longer married to Martin, she and her kids still celebrate Boxing Day \u2014 a UK holiday on Dec. 26.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also do kind of Boxing Day, which is a holdover from our days in the UK, where we just, you know, have another day of like, glorious gluttony and total relaxation and board games and stuff like that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Back in September, Paltrow revealed a regret she had <\/a>about her relationship with Falchuk, 54 \u2014 not living together during their first year of marriage for the sake of their children.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think at the time, we really felt like we were doing the right thing,\u201d she said. \u201cWe were trying to kind of land the plane very, very gently and slowly and get everybody on board.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019m not sure that it didn\u2019t just prolong that thing of like, we don\u2019t know what we\u2019re doing,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n

Falchuk agreed, noting their decision gave their children too much power.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think them having agency is really important,\u201d he reflected. \u201cBut power, to actually keep these two adults from living together?
