{"id":166883,"date":"2025-12-04T01:28:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T01:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/166883\/"},"modified":"2025-12-04T01:28:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T01:28:07","slug":"ready-or-not-2-trailer-sees-samara-weaving-fighting-for-world-domination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/166883\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Ready or Not 2&#8217; Trailer Sees Samara Weaving Fighting For World Domination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAlthough <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/samara-weaving\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Samara Weaving<\/a>\u2018s Grace just barely survived her wedding night in <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/ready-or-not\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Ready or Not<\/a> (2019), it appears the honeymoon is over as she returns in the hotly-anticipated sequel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOn Wednesday, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/searchlight-pictures\/\">Searchlight Pictures<\/a> unveiled the first official trailer for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/radio-silence\/\">Radio Silence<\/a>\u2018s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/ready-or-not-here-i-come\/\">Ready or Not 2: Here I Come<\/a>, which picks up immediately after Grace survived the bloody take on the children\u2019s game at the end of the first movie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBut Grace soon discovers that she\u2019s only reached another level of the nightmarish game, now with her estranged sister Faith (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/kathryn-newton\/\">Kathryn Newton<\/a>) also playing to survive, as she now has to fight for the High Seat of the Council, which controls the world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAfter killing her groom and the rest of the Le Domas family in the first film, Grace has to face off against a new flock of wealthy killers, played by Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, N\u00e9stor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng and David Cronenberg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cYou\u2019ve caused quite a stir, Mrs. Le Domas. You married into that family, now they\u2019re dead. What you didn\u2019t know is that this goes far beyond them,\u201d Wood\u2019s nameless Lawyer tells Grace. \u201cBy surviving Hide-and-Seek, you\u2019ve triggered a new game, this time against the High Council Families, double or nothing.
