\n\tRobyn<\/a>\u2019s mighty comeback track, \u201cDopamine,\u201d<\/a> has received a new remix from Jamie xx<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tJamie puts his signature spin on the euphoric dance track<\/a>, opening up the original\u2019s thumping four-on-the-floor kicks into skittering grooves reminiscent of U.K. jungle, while adding more flashes and flourishes to the already strobe-like synths. The \u201cDopamine\u201d remix marks Robyn and Jamie xx\u2019s second project together, with the pair linking up just last year on \u201cLife,\u201d<\/a> which appeared on Jamie\u2019s most recent solo album, In Waves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tRobyn released \u201cDopamine\u201d back in November, with the song marking her first original solo single since her 2018 album, Honey<\/a>. The Swedish pop great created the song with her longtime collaborator, producer Klas \u00c5hlund.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement at the time, Robyn said of the track, \u201cThe doubleness of \u2018Dopamine\u2019 is having an emotion that is super real, super strong, intense, enjoyable or painful, and at the same time knowing that this is just a biological process in my body \u2014 and then not to choose religion or science. To just accept that they\u2019re there together and to be able to go in between.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRobyn has yet to share any additional songs, nor has she confirmed whether she has a new album on the way. Since releasing Honey, Robyn has done several collaborations, including the aformentioned track with Jamie xx, as well as tracks with with\u00a0SG Lewis, Channel Tres<\/a>,\u00a0J\u00f3nsi<\/a>, Smile, the Lonely Island, and Beck. She also guested on\u00a0Lorde\u2019s\u00a0Solar Power<\/a>\u00a0and the remix of Charli XCX\u2019s \u201c360,\u201d alongside Yung Lean. In 2022, she covered Neneh Cherry\u2019s \u201cBuffalo Stance<\/a>\u201d with Maipei.<\/p>\n

\n\tRobyn also returned to the stage last month<\/a>, performing at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles.
