The Stranger Things<\/a> cast has reacted to the shocking scene closing out Season 5 Volume 1: Noah Schnapp\u2019s<\/a> Will Byers manifesting his psychic powers. At the Episode 4 table read, the cast had a myriad of reactions as they listened to the scene narration and learned that Will has powers. Notably, Millie Bobby Brown<\/a>, who plays the superpowered Eleven, expressed surprise and joy after hearing about Will\u2019s abilities.<\/p>\n

Stranger Things\u2019 official YouTube channel released a clip of Season 5, Episode 4\u2019s table read, showing the moment the cast learned about Will Byers\u2019 powers. <\/p>\n

In the said clip<\/a>, series co-creator Matt Duffer<\/a> reads out aloud the end of Episode 4. In it, Will awakens his psychic powers and uses them to restrain a group of Demogorgons threatening Mike, Lucas, and Robin\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

Gaten Matarazzo<\/a> is the first to react to the reveal. He raises his mouth and eyebrows and puts his hand on the top of his head in shock as he looks at his script and looks at Noah Schnapp, who has a slight smirk on his face, with surprise. Meanwhile, Charlie Heaton<\/a> smiles slightly while Natalia Dyer raises her eyebrows.<\/p>\n

As Duffer continues reading the scene, Jake Connelly<\/a>, who plays Derek, raises his mouth in shock, while Millie Bobby Brown smiles, drops her mouth, and raises her eyes in surprise. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Joe Keery<\/a> shakes his head with a smile, Vecna<\/a> actor Jamie Campbell Bower<\/a> laughs after Schnapp makes a face at him, and Linda Hamilton<\/a>, who plays Dr. Kay, smiles and makes a goofy expression.<\/p>\n

Brown then lightly screams in joy as the reading concludes and the cast bursts into applause. She reaches for Schnapp\u2019s arm and cheers while telling him, \u201cYou\u2019re one of me!\u201d The Damsel actress then mockingly adds, \u201cNow you get to deal with that bloody nose.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Noah Schnapp revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly<\/a> that he learned of Will\u2019s powers ahead of the table read, describing the moment as a \u201cwhiplash of a reveal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 is streaming on Netflix, with Volume 2 set to arrive on Christmas.
