Warner Bros. Japan<\/a> started streaming the clean ending sequence without credits for Record of Ragnarok III<\/a>, the third\u00a0season<\/a> in the anime based on\u00a0Shinya Umemura<\/a>,\u00a0Azychika<\/a>, and\u00a0Takumi Fukui<\/a>‘s\u00a0Record of Ragnarok<\/a>\u00a0(Sh\u016bmatsu no Walk\u00fcre<\/a>) manga, on Wednesday. The video features the song “Last breath, Last record” by Saori Hayami<\/a>. The company also announces three more cast members for the series.<\/p>\n

The new anime will feature a different staff.\u00a0K\u014dichi Hatsumi<\/a>\u00a0(Tokyo Revengers<\/a>,\u00a0Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown<\/a>) is directing the anime at\u00a0Yumeta Company<\/a>\u00a0\u00d7\u00a0Maru Animation<\/a>\u00a0(Yumeta Company\u00a0and\u00a0Graphinica<\/a>\u00a0animated the previous season).\u00a0Yasuyuki Mut\u014d<\/a>\u00a0(Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway<\/a>,\u00a0Tokyo Revengers) is the main writer, and\u00a0Y\u014dko Tanabe<\/a>\u00a0(Handyman Sait\u014d in Another World<\/a>) and\u00a0Hisashi Kawashima<\/a>\u00a0(Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream<\/a>) are the new character designers.\u00a0Yasuharu Takanashi<\/a>\u00a0is returning to compose the music. GLAY<\/a> performs the opening theme song\u00a0“Dead or Alive.”<\/p>\n

The saga continues with 13 one-on-one battles for the survival of humanity, pitting gods against humansfrom across the world. Witness the fateful seventh battle: the final fight to break the 3-3 tie between thegods and humans. Blood flows and fists fly in these intense battles of strong convictions!<\/p>\n

The first season of the television anime debuted on\u00a0Netflix\u00a0in June 2021.\u00a0Record of Ragnarok II<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 the second\u00a0season<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0anime<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 debuted its first part on\u00a0Netflix\u00a0in January 2023. The anime’s second part (episodes 11-15)\u00a0debuted<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0Netflix\u00a0in July 2023.<\/p>\n

Viz Media<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0releasing<\/a>\u00a0the series digitally and in print in English.\u00a0Mangamo<\/a>\u00a0first\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0its license of\u00a0Record of Ragnarok\u00a0in March 2022.<\/p>\n

The manga\u00a0launched<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Comic Zenon<\/a>\u00a0magazine in November 2017. Umemura is writing the story, while\u00a0Azychika\u00a0is drawing the art. Fukui is storyboarding the work.<\/p>\n

The manga has several spinoffs including\u00a0Sh\u016bmatsu no Walk\u00fcre Kitan: Jack the Ripper no Jikenbo<\/a>\u00a0(Record of Ragnarok\u00a0Mystery – The Case Files of Jack the Ripper),\u00a0Ryo Fu H\u014d Sen Hish\u014dden<\/a>\u00a0(The Legend of Lu Bu\u00a0Fengxiang The Flying General), and the\u00a0Sh\u016bmatsu no Walk\u00fcre Kinden: Kamigami no Apocalypse<\/a>\u00a0(Record of Ragnarok\u00a0Forbidden Tale: Apocalypse of the Gods)\u00a0manga<\/a>\u00a0that launched in June 2024.<\/p>\n

A battle role-playing smartphone\u00a0game<\/a>\u00a0titled\u00a0Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgment\u00a0launched on March 31.<\/p>\n
