Sugita voices vampire lord appearing in episode 11 next week<\/p>\n

The official website for\u00a0the television anime<\/a> of Akiharu T\u014dka<\/a>‘s The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess<\/a> (Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi) manga announced on Thursday that Tomokazu Sugita<\/a> will join the anime’s cast as the vampire lord, a character who will appear in the anime’s 11th episode next Wednesday, December 17.<\/p>\n

The anime premiered<\/a> in Japan on October 8 on the TV Tokyo<\/a> and BS11<\/a> channels. Crunchyroll<\/a> is streaming<\/a> the series in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. Crunchyroll is also \u200bstreaming<\/a>\u200b\u200b\u200b an English dub<\/a> for the anime.<\/p>\n

The anime will star:<\/p>\n

Hiroaki Sakurai<\/a> (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.<\/a>, Di Gi Charat<\/a>) is directing the anime at Studio DEEN<\/a>. Mitsutaka Hirota<\/a> (Edens Zero<\/a>, Rent-A-Girlfriend<\/a>) is overseeing the series scripts, and Tomoyo Sawada<\/a> (Love Rice<\/a>) is designing the characters. Ry\u016bichi Takada<\/a> (The Faraway Paladin<\/a>, Summer Time Rendering<\/a>) from MONACA<\/a> is composing the music at HIKE<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

KID PHENOMENON<\/a> from EXILE TRIBE<\/a> perform the opening theme song “Black Flame.” Zerofrom<\/a> perform the ending theme song “Rengene.”<\/p>\n

The anime’s Special Edition Blu-ray Disc will include<\/a> two special anime episodes based on short stories that are not part of the television broadcast: “Yomi to Shitto to Tanj\u014dbi” (“Yomi, Jealousy, and Happy Birthday”) and “Iana to Sol Netsuppoi Ichinichi” (“A Bad Case of Butler Fever”). The Blu-ray Disc ships in Japan on April 3, 2026.<\/p>\n

Yen Press<\/a> is releasing<\/a> the romantic comedy manga in English, and it describes the story:<\/p>\n

But when it looks like that dark history is going to be uncovered by her mother, Konoha panics and dies in a traffic accident! T\u014dka launched<\/a> the manga in Hakusensha<\/a>‘s LaLa<\/a> magazine in August 2018. Hakusensha released the 17th compiled book volume on Friday
\n. The manga has more than 1.7 million copies in circulation, including digital copies sold.<\/p>\n
