Oliver Rowland<\/a> was in attendance to accept his Drivers\u2019 World Championship trophy, having sealed the deal in Berlin earlier this year thanks to a dominant season with Nissan. The Brit managed four wins, seven podiums and two Julius Baer Pole Positions across his title-winning campaign to lock in the honours with two races to go.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt’s been a long time coming,\u201d Rowland said when accepting his trophy in Tashkent. \u201cI’ve been in Formula E now for seven years. It’s been a tricky first few years, but to finally get my hands on [the championship], and have the season that we had and the domination, particularly in the beginning, is a fantastic achievement, and I’m extremely proud.\u201d<\/p>\n For Porsche<\/a>, who won both the Teams\u2019 and Manufacturers\u2019 Titles, their Director of Factory Motorsport Florian Modlinger and Vice President of Porsche Motorsport Thomas Laudenbach were on hand to collect the silverware. Formula E is such a competitive championship.
