ServiceNow is looking to acquire cyber exposure management vendor Armis in a deal that could be valued at up to $7 billion, according to a report.<\/p>\n
The Bloomberg report<\/a> Saturday indicated that \u201cadvanced talks\u201d between the companies could lead to the announcement of a deal within days.<\/p>\n Armis declined to comment Sunday. CRN has reached out to ServiceNow for comment.<\/p>\n [Related: The 25 Hottest Edge Security Companies: 2025 Edge Computing 100<\/a>]<\/p>\n The report comes after Armis announced raising $435 million in new funding in early November, as well as achieving a $6.1 billion valuation in connection with the round.<\/p>\n Armis said at the time that it was continuing to prepare for an initial public offering, which has been a goal for the company for the past several years. In September 2023, Armis co-founder and CEO Yevgeny Dibrov told CRN<\/a> the vendor was stepping up its efforts to achieve readiness for an IPO.<\/p>\n The company\u2019s annual recurring revenue recently reached $300 million\u2014up more than 50 percent from the same time a year earlier\u2014and Armis is on a \u201cpath to $1 billion in ARR,\u201d the vendor said in a news release in early November.<\/p>\n Service\u00adNow, meanwhile, has continued to bolster its security platform including through a recently announced<\/a> agreement to acquire identity security startup Veza. The deal, disclosed in early December, is reportedly<\/a> in the vicinity of \u201cat least\u201d $1 billion, according to The Information.<\/p>\n Well-Funded Player<\/p>\n Founded in 2016, San Francisco-based Armis has been among the most well-funded cybersecurity vendors in recent years, with a total of $1.06 billion raised over four funding rounds since February 2021.<\/p>\n Armis\u2019 funding round announced in November was led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives.<\/p>\n The vendor recently debuted a number of advancements for improving security and visibility into IT and OT environments as well as all connected assets.
