After wrapping up her world tour last week, Dua Lipa<\/a> did what anyone at the brink of a new chapter would do: she dyed her hair. <\/p>\n Along with killer pop star pipes, infectious tunes, and sparkly fashion statements, Lipa has become known for her ever-changing hair. Between her signature cherry cola red<\/a>, a quick pink stint, and a couple blonde moments, the natural brunette has experimented with countless shades from platinum to jet black and everywhere in between. <\/p>\n But to celebrate the end of an era and the start of something new, she went for a subtler, softer change. Dyed by hair colorist Matt Rez<\/a>, who has been trusted by the likes of Hailey Bieber<\/a>, Kendall Jenner<\/a>, and Addison Rae<\/a>, her long locks were given a chocolate-brown upgrade, lightened from her Radical Optimism<\/a> black to match the color of her eyes. For a cut, she added some versatile face-framing pieces that she styled as both layers and side bangs.<\/p>\n The new look served as her first big switch-up in over a year, when she left behind the red and went back to her dark roots<\/a>\u2014coinciding with a meaningful performance at Royal Albert Hall in London. Rez was also behind this look, as well as the signature cherry before it.<\/p>\n Taking her new brown hair out to play, Lipa performed a private concert in Canc\u00fan, M\u00e9xico as part of the Quest by Power festival. Sparkling in silver, she took the stage in a custom Courreges bodysuit, designed with a halter neckline and cut-outs. Around her neck, a matching belt doubled as a choker, and on her arms, coordinating gloves gave the look its show-stopping finishing touch.<\/p>\n
