It left Earth in April 2023 and is due to arrive at the gas giant in 2031.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>2025 has been another\u00a0big year for Juice. It made its closest approach to the Sun\u00a0and\u00a0flew close by Venus\u00a0for a gravity boost to help it on its way. This second episode of \u2018The journey of Juice\u2019 takes us\u00a0on a journey of our own, discovering\u00a0what Juice \u2013 and the humans behind it \u2013 have experienced\u00a0this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0a\u00a0clean room\u00a0at ESA\u2019s technical centre, thermal engineer Romain\u00a0Peyrou-Lauge shows us\u00a0the technologies that protect Juice\u00a0from the intense heat of the Sun during this period.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Uppsala, Sweden,\u00a0scientists get together for a \u2018science working team\u2019 meeting to discuss the scientific aspects of the mission.
