Now, a source exclusively tells National Enquirer that it\u2019s putting a strain on their decades-long friendship.<\/p>\n

\u201cRyan is not about to tell Hugh that he has to break up with Sutton, but he\u2019s also doing nothing to bring her into the tight knit group of A-listers he associates with,\u201d the source says. \u201cIt\u2019s a status thing, and Ryan sees himself as a movie star and a mogul, and he\u2019s careful about the company he keeps, almost to a fault.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source points out that Reynolds, 49, has \u201conly been in relationships with world famous women, going back to his early 20s\u201d and Foster, 50, is \u201cstill not a household name, despite her long list of Broadway hits and TV credits.\u201d<\/p>\n
