\n\tMariah Carey may not want a lot for Christmas, but she\u2019s unwrapped an early present on Monday (Dec. 15), when her holiday hit \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d reached a record-breaking 20 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a>. And to celebrate, The Elusive Chanteuse shared a photo and quick message with fans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHumbly taking back the torch!! 20 weeks at #1<\/a>,\u201d she wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful \u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the accompanying photo, the pop superstar is wearing a festive, sparkly red bodysuit with white fur trim, holding a golden flaming torch as she stands in front of a Christmas tree. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe torch isn\u2019t just a random prop. Earlier on Monday, Carey and the Olympics announced that the five-time Grammy winner would be performing during the Opening Ceremony at the 2026 Winter Games. The official Olympics Instagram account described her upcoming February set in Milano Cortina, Italy, as \u201ca performance set to define an unforgettable Opening Ceremony performance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d originally arrived in 1994. It\u2019s return to the peak of the Hot 100 on the chart dated Dec. 20 for a 20th week marks the second time the singer has held the tally\u2019s No. 1 longevity record. She first set the record in 1996 when her Boyz II Men collab \u201cOne Sweet Day\u201d topped the chart for 16 weeks. Her Christmas hit now breaks the weeks at No. 1 record set by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus\u2019 \u201cOld Town Road\u201d in 2019 at 19 weeks, which Shaboozey tied with \u201cTipsy (A Bar Song\u201d) in 2024.<\/p>\n
