This is also a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only watch, so not the 4G version that can connect to the mobile network. You always need to be tethered to your phone, as is the case with the majority of wearable tech.<\/p>\n

As this is an Android watch that runs Google\u2019s WearOS software, the Pixel Watch 3 is compatible with many third party apps such as Strava, Spotify, WhatsApp, AllTrails, and tons of other popular services that have a smartwatch app.<\/p>\n

This is one of the big advantages of opting for a Pixel Watch 3 over a Fitbit branded tracker, as Fitbits do not have third party app support, as they run on different software.
