Desperate times call for desperate measures \u2014 and there\u2019s no more desperate time than the holiday season, is there? Especially for moms. We bear the brunt of creating holiday magic for our families, while also keeping the house clean, preparing food, and planning what to get for every teacher gift, hostess gift, in-law present, and white elephant exchange. (I didn\u2019t even mention the damn Elf on the Shelf!) So, when Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian just revealed that her mom Kris Jenner used to literally lock her in the attic at this time of year, we\u2019ve never felt more seen.<\/p>\n

On an appearance on Kardashian\u2019s Khlo\u00e9 in Wonder Land podcast this week, the Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch confirmed that she did keep her youngest daughter with ex Robert Kardashian in the attic at Christmastime.<\/p>\n

In a clip of that taping on Instagram<\/a>, the mother-daughter duo wore matching red-and-green plaid outfits as they chatted Christmas. \u201cMom, when I think of Christmas, I think of you. Christmas is,\u201d \u201cOur thing,\u201d Jenner chimed in.<\/p>\n

Kardashian added, \u201cour World Cup.\u201d <\/p>\n

Jenner admitted to buying Christmas presents in \u201cJune or July.\u201d And once the presents were bought, sometimes she needed a little help getting them all wrapped. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom would always make me help her,\u201d Kardashian recalled. \u201cYou made me go in the attic and wrap all these gifts. You locked me up there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenner laughed, responding, \u201cOh my god! Thank you for doing that.\u201d Jenner added, \u201cMother gets really desperate around the holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a kid, I remember staying up late on Christmas Eve helping my mom wrap gifts too. Maybe it\u2019s part of being in a big family \u2014 there are just too many things to wrap, tag, and do before the holidays. Or maybe it\u2019s because Jenner is a Type C mom <\/a>like me, buying all the presents with plenty of time in advance, and then scrambling to wrap them all at the last second. But literally locking her daughter in the attic to help her get it done? That\u2019s like something out of National Lampoon\u2019s Family Vacation, and I am cackling just picturing it.<\/p>\n

Other holiday traditions the Kardashian-Jenners do include hosting a huge Christmas Eve party every year and sending out family Christmas cards. One year, a nostalgic Instagram account @90sanxiety pointed out ahuge mistake in one of the only family cards from the \u201890s. Everyone\u2019s names were listed, except \u201cKhlo\u00e9\u201d was misspelled as \u201cKhol\u00e9.\u201d She re-posted the picture<\/a> on her Instagram story, writing, \u201cWait!! @90sanxiety just pointed out the typo in my name!!! So rude! The disrespect of it all lol.\u201d<\/p>\n

This girl is always getting the short end of the stick at the holiday season, isn\u2019t she? At least she has a good sense of humor about it!<\/p>\n
