Every regional/carrier variant that saw a release earlier this month has received a corresponding new build.

BP4A.251205.006.E1: Global

BP4A.251205.006.C2: Japan

BP4A.251205.006.A4: EMEA

This suggests the update is intended for all users, especially when you factor in the Verizon release notes (Pixel 8-10):

Battery drain: Faster than normal battery depletion.

Touch unresponsive: Intermittent touch failures observed specifically on Pixel 10.

Cached content access: Inaccessibility of locally stored content (e.g., offline media, maps) after upgrading from Android 14 or earlier directly to Android 16.

However, Google does not appear to have fully rolled it out. All our unlocked devices have seen the update, but phones on Google Fi/T-Mobile haven’t received it yet.

Advertisement – scroll for more content

Original 12/17: This OTA comes in at around 25 MB, with reports from owners of the Pixel 8, 9, and 10 series.

However, this is not widely available as of Wednesday afternoon (PT), and it’s unclear if all users/carriers will receive this update. Compared to the last out-of-cycle update in October, this might be a more limited patch. Google has not posted any factory or OTA images yet.

More on Pixel:

FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links. More.

Some Pixel owners today are getting a new December 2025 update today after installing the initial release (Android…

[16
85,46,321,125
0":"post-193866","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mobile","8":"tag-il","9":"tag-israel","10":"tag-mobile","11":"tag-technology
["GET
