{"id":199411,"date":"2025-12-23T07:33:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-23T07:33:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/199411\/"},"modified":"2025-12-23T07:33:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T07:33:07","slug":"new-12-8m-treatment-centre-for-leicester-royal-infirmary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/199411\/","title":{"rendered":"New \u00a312.8m treatment centre for Leicester Royal Infirmary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">At Leicester General Hospital, the space in the East Midlands Planned Care Centre (EMPCC) will be refurbished and a new home will be built for the Hearing and Balance service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The Baldwin Lodge at Glenfield Hospital will be refurbished to accommodate occupational health teams currently based at the LRI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">At the LRI, there are plans for a six-storey extension to the Windsor Building and refurbishment of space in the Victoria and Jarvis buildings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Services will also be relocated from Knighton Street, UHL said, and laboratories will be created for Immunology and Cytogenetics.
