The tennis star, 45, married actor Andrea Preti<\/a>, 37, in two weddings<\/a> \u2014 the first taking place on Sept. 18 in Ischia, Italy, and the second over this past weekend in Palm Beach, Fla., according to Vogue<\/a>.<\/p>\n For her legal courthouse ceremony in Florida on Dec. 19, Venus stunned in a Morilee New York gown.<\/p>\n “I asked for one dress,” Venus told Vogue. \u201cThey made 10 dresses, all custom. The dress I ended up wearing was just divine. I also had an outfit to wear when we left so I wouldn\u2019t draw attention to myself. She accessorized with Messika jewelry.<\/p>\n “I wanted to wear a gown that Andrea would love and one that captured the essence of the Florida wedding we were creating,” Venus told Vogue.<\/p>\n Preti was instantly wowed by his bride, whose hair and makeup was done by Angela Meadows\u00a0and\u00a0Natasha Gross, respectively, throughout the multi-day festivities.<\/p>\n “When I saw Venus, she was beautiful, like a goddess,” Preti shared with the magazine. “I was crying and happy.”<\/p>\n Venus had wanted to try on her “magical and perfect” gown before the wedding, but a sample wasn\u2019t available.<\/p>\n “I was in Paris for a day, and I said, ‘I have to go try this dress.’ It was during Fashion Week. It was crazy, but somehow we made it work. I wanted my sister [Isha] to come up, and when she did, she started crying. It was just perfect,” the tennis pro recalled to the outlet. “The way it sparkles, the transparency \u2014 it reminds me of the ocean and sea.”<\/p>\n Jon Kopaloff\/Getty<\/p>\n Venus Williams and Andrea Preti in October 2025<\/p>\n Other outfits Venus changed into throughout her special day include bridal looks from Natali & Meital, Veni Infantino and Eve of Milady.<\/p>\n Back in September, Serena Williams<\/a>, 44, shared with PEOPLE during the launch of her and Venus’ podcast,\u00a0Stockton Street<\/a>, that she was helping her older sister with planning ahead of her nuptials<\/a>.
