{"id":201898,"date":"2025-12-24T17:30:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T17:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/201898\/"},"modified":"2025-12-24T17:30:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T17:30:07","slug":"ez-link-app-to-be-terminated-on-jan-8-integrated-into-simplygo-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/201898\/","title":{"rendered":"EZ-Link app to be terminated on Jan 8, integrated into SimplyGo app"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">SINGAPORE \u2013 The EZ-Link application, commonly used for public transportation, will be discontinued on Jan 8, 2026, as its features have been integrated into the SimplyGo app.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In an e-mail sent to users on Dec 23, SimplyGo said that EZ-Link app users will need to download the SimplyGo app, login with their EZ-Link account details and perform a one-time account synchronisation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This process allows users\u2019 account profiles and cards to be migrated to SimplyGo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Users who do not sync their EZ-Link accounts to the SimplyGo app will not have their accounts deleted. Instead, they will be dormant until the users sync them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to the SimplyGo website, the EZ-Link app has been progressively phased out from Dec 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It added that all existing EZ-Link app features have been integrated into the SimplyGo app since September 2024 to unify all transit ticketing and travel card-related services on a single platform.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Users of the SimplyGo app can top up travel cards, make overseas and local payments with Mastercard and SGQR using an EZ-Link wallet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/ez-link-app-to-be-terminated-on-jan-8-integrated-into-simplygo-app?utm_source=b8f711c7d1&amp;utm_medium=cf-syn\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Source: The Straits Times \u00a9 SPH Media Limited.
