Last week we saw the first CAD-based render<\/a> depicting the upcoming iPhone Fold<\/a>, and today a video shows the device from more angles – or does it? It might be based on the leaked CAD schematics, but if it is then why isn’t that mentioned in it? We assume it’s to make you think this is a leak. It’s not. It’s more like speculation.<\/p>\n

And there is at least one significant departure from the previously leaked CAD schematics, in how inconsistent the selfie camera’s placement is on the inner, folding screen. While we don’t know who’s right here, we will say that this video starts by proclaiming that there will only be three new iPhones next year, totally ignoring the iPhone 17e<\/a>. So there’s that. According to this video, the iPhone Fold will only be available in black and white.<\/p>\n

Apple is rumored to have insisted on having a minimal, almost invisible crease on the folding screen, and that’s a big part of this video, even though Chinese foldables have had minimal creases for years now. Will the iPhone Fold’s crease be even smaller? Actually invisible and impossible to feel? Maybe. But what’s the point in pretending that every other foldable ever made has a huge crease?
